Allyson Winburn is a certified full-spectrum doula and proud owner of Honeycomb Postpartum. She is passionate about providing all parents with non-judgmental and restorative support throughout the entire pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. Allyson completed her doula certification with Doula Trainings International and has been practicing in Washington D.C. since 2021.  

 

Allyson has a background in cross-cultural, community-driven development and operations, bringing a systems-centered mindset to her postpartum support. She holds a degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Northwest Province, South Africa.

 

Allyson relaxes by taking long walks, baking or cooking, watching Bravo, and catching up with friends and family. Originally from Arizon, she lives in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington DC and is a doting mom to a dog and a cat.
